Bringing drugs in or out is illegal in any country. The same applies to Mexico. Compared to other countries, Mexico has more rigid laws concerning drug use and possession.
Being caught at the airport in possession of illegal drugs can get you arrested and thrown in jail. Believe us when we say that you’d rather be swimming in one of Cabo’s beaches than spend even a short time in a Mexican jail.
No matter what your purpose is, you shouldn’t bring guns to Mexico. They won’t care whether your gun is for protection or game hunting. The violation will likely land you in jail. Bringing in guns across the border is a crime Mexico takes very seriously.
Fail to Keep an Eye out for Dangerous Animals
While in Cabo, ask where the best beaches are for swimming or surfing. In the water, watch out for jellyfish. Always carry lemon juice or lotion with you in case you get stung.
There are some places in Cabo with dangerous bugs and reptiles. Be alert about venomous animals such as scorpions and rattlesnakes that are sometimes seen in the city.
