What Wikipedia Can’t Tell You about Our Insurance (1)

Wikipedia is a great tool for learning about… well, anything. Thing is, there’s actually not even a wiki page about Seven Corners. But if there was, we’d want you to know:

We’re real people trying to make a difference. A company that you don’t know a lot about can turn into a big monster in your head. It becomes a characterless, soulless company that doesn’t care about you. But the more you know about the people involved, the more you realize that the company can care, and does have character.

Seven Corners started as a two-man operation in 1993. Their goal was to create an international travel insurance company unique in its personalized customer service and high-quality products. Co-founders Justin Tysdal and Jim Krampen started out working alone to reach their goal with one retail product. Now, still under Jim and Justin’s leadership, the company has become an all-around, multifunctional organization of about 230 employees. Today, Seven Corners provides numerous products and services to a variety of markets and services the needs of hundreds of thousands of members worldwide. We take in about 400 claims every day!

Even though Seven Corners is a pretty small company compared to its competitors, we have big plans. Our goals revolve around our core values:

  • Customers come first.

  • We innovate.

  • We do the right thing.

  • We own the solution.

  • We are precise.

We strive to always be thinking of the customer, first and foremost. And we believe that is what sets us apart. We strive to be transparent, not leaving you as the customer any surprises. We have a real desire to see customers satisfied. Because of this, we covet your feedback. As a small company, we can discuss and implement ideas much easier than a larger company could. So, if we can improve, we want to know!

We really are just a group of real people, hoping to make a difference in the lives of every one of our customers. From the Marketing team, to the Executive team, to the Sales team, Claims, and Customer Service team, we all believe in community. Our culture is strongly connected to our ability to extend a sense of community to our customers no matter where they are. This can be as simple as guiding customers to choose the best benefits for their needs or as complex as coordinating an emergency medical evacuation halfway across the world.

Will you give us a chance to give you an experience that is different? Call our Sales department at 1-800-335-0611 to talk about insurance for your next trip!
