How are they checking the plate? I want to split with someone but use theirs for a rental car when a family member visits? I guess it's a risk? Any lots where the risk is lower?

Well... The 2 plates are printed on the passes. Your vehicles plate is attached to the car. The attendant uses his eyes and compares them.
You might get by in the main lot where it's an automated scan to exit gate and not required to display while parked, but all the other lots are just pay+display style where it would be on the dash.

Or if there are better options in the surrounding areas for a total eclipse.
That was the only reason why I got this pass. Just hoping weather’s good that day, otherwise it would have been a waste of money and I would have to drive somewhere east like Kingston.

Here is the site for that trolley.... looks like 3.50 a ride, its only a minute or two of a ride, but is almost a direct line up the hill from the parking lot.

Hopefully this link, and image help see where it all kinda lands.

Would only be at the main lot. Which from Google maps looks like they just have automated gates now.

Hi,
I’m going to Niagara Falls next week for 3 days and plan to purchase the parking pass. I will have no use for it afterwards. If anyone wants a share the cost, I can mail the pass to you when I’m done with it and it will be yours to use for the rest of the year.
DM by March 10th if you are interested in sharing the cost/pass. I

Careful, I don't think you have the option for overnight parking.

The website seems to be down.
I'll be going to Niagara in about 10 days. In case I don't get there physical tickets by then, how do I know which are the lots I can park?

Anyone know the answer to this? Does it include over night parking if you are staying in town at a hotel? Say for 1-3 nights.

So I called customer service and order tickets today. A few clarifications:
- both vehicles can be parked same day
- if you're traveling before tickets arrive, print the email order confirmation and put it on dashboard
- the validity is till end of this year and not 1 year from ordering.

If you're near Rouge Park (Port Union, Pickering), DM me to split the parking pass cost. Thanks

Can both enter and exit the same lot at the same time?

Please note, this year the validity is until end of the year. Last year pass was valid for 1 year from date of purchase. My last pass is valid until July 2024.

Not to nit pick. However that style of lift is a “funicular railway” Niagara calls it the falls incline railway.
Only mention it as many tourists go and trolly could be confusing.
Autocorrect sucks
