Cet émulateur multi-systèmes pour MacOS a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- corrects a bug that — although not local to that machines — was most likely to miscolour the left border of the Vic-20 if it had changed close to horizontal retrace; and
- adds the Archimedes' quick-load configuration option to the SDL command line, while also adding the Archimides itself to the Qt machine picker.

- SAVESTATES: Increase save state chunk size for all platforms – Even a class 6 or class 10 SD card can handle reads and writes on the order of MB/s, which means a 4KB chunk size is just wasting time in syscalls. This could maybe be fixed with a buffering reader but I don’t feel comfortable tweaking libretro-common’s VFS to handle that. Instead, I thought it would be good to both remove an ifdef and increase the chunk size to 128KB. For cores with small states this will should make state saving virtually instantaneous, and for cores with large states it should be a 32x speedup.

As reading must be done inside an UI thread and is in fact an async operation which might delay frame generation, the reading itself is doen once and cached, give that changing resolution while the app is running is an unlikely corner-case use
- WINDOWS: Windows mouse ungrab must release the mouse instead of confine it to the current desktop (#16488)

Feature Updates:
- Added support for using Category subdirectories in combination with Single Archive
- Added an option to opt out of crash reporting in global settings
- Enhanced the fixing logic for renames to avoid potential race conditions with case sensitive filesystems

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a crash that occured when Single Archive option was used with DATs that contained CHDs

Une nouvelle version de cet émulateur multi-systèmes pour MacOS a été publiée. Voici la liste des changements:
This release primarily improves the Archimedes:
- video emulation is improved, especially with regards to the left crop in titles like James Pond and Robocod, and the cursor being misplaced relative to content in 1bpp and 2bpp modes;
- runtime machine selection helps to resolve speed issues with early titles such as Zarch;
- errors in instruction fetch related to user mode have been fixed; and
- minor improvements have been made to floppy drive emulation.

Cet émulateur multi-systèmes a été mis à jour. Les versions MacOS se déclinent désormais en deux versions: "latest" pour OSX 10.13 et supérieur et "compat" pour OSX 10.9 à 10.13. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
Atari 2600
- Improved 6502 CPU emulation; all unofficial opcodes are now implemented
- Improve handling of the HMOVE register
- Refactor of TIA; fixes many emulation issues but still imperfect
- Implement correct 6502 reset timing

Bandai - WonderSwan / WonderSwan Color
- Minor fixes to v30mz CPU emulation
- Emulate 32KB SRAM for '8KB' type cartridges
- Implement Sound Test register bits 1,2 and 3

Nintendo - NES / Famicom
- Improved 6502 CPU emulation; all unofficial opcodes are now supported
- Fix APU frame counter emulation
- Various improvements to APU emulation
- Implement correct 6502 reset timing

Nintendo - Nintendo 64
- Fix an issue where saved data from the current game could be duplicated into the next
- Fix an issue where the Real Time Clock may not function correctly depending on the user's local time zone

Nintendo - Game Boy Advance
- Implement that the last cycle of the prefetcher cannot be interrupted
- Implement correct ROM mirroring for Famicom Mini / Classic NES series
- Improve handling of SRAM/Flash bus
- Fix the timing of initial DMA wait cycles

Sega Mega Drive / CD / 32X
- Lower sync interval between MD and 32X: improves emulation accuracy but does reduce performance

Sony - PlayStation
- Update the blitter to operate on a copy of the framebuffer; fixes potential threading issues

ruby (Audio/Video/Input abstraction layer)
- Added a native Metal backend for macOS with VRR support
- Implemented latency selection in SDL audio driver
- Removed the built-in Blur shader, using the bilinear slang shader is preferred
- Removed non-hardware accelerated video drivers (any platform capable of running ares should at least have OpenGL, D3D or Metal available)
- Reduce CPU usage on the video thread by using a condition variable rather than a spinlock
- Add support for connecting a Mouse on macOS (for emulating SNES mouse, etc)
- Remove tight loops in SDL and OpenAL drivers, reducing CPU usage when using these drivers.

User Interface
- Fix an issue where nested slang shaders were not available in the UI

Cet émulateur ColecoVision et machines à l'architecture proche pour Nintendo DS au développement très actif a encore été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Added overlays for Blackjack and War Room. Improved War Games overlay.
- Added KANA lock LED indicator for Japanese MSX keyboard layouts.
- Correctly read-back the PPG Port B (needed to make the KANA lock work but is more accurate overall).
- Improvements to various Coleco PCB types for more accurate emulation.

ColecoDS v9.8

Cet émulateur ColecoVision et machines à l'architecture proche pour Nintendo DS a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Cleanup of MSX BIOS handling - we now support the Panasonic CF-2700 directly. See MSX BIOS section for details.
- MSX status line now shows RAM (based on machine chosen) on the status line (was previously showing ROM size which no other machine in ColecoDS did).
- MSX Caps Lock now has LED indicator on the virtual keyboard.
- Added ROM/CAS/DSK size and CRC32 on the main screen after choosing a game.
- Numerous fixes for Save/Load states especially for the MSX and Einstein.
- Improved memory handling to free up some DS resources for future expansion.

ColecoDS v9.7

Une nouvelle version de cet émulateur ColecoVision et machines à l'architecture proche pour Nintendo DS a été publiée. Voici la liste des changements:
- Fixed Colecovision RAM mirrors such that Boulderdash runs properly.
- The Heist now forces RAM to clear (all zeros) as it is known to be picky about contents of RAM on power up.
- Fix EEPROM sequential reads so Activision PCB games like Jewel Panic work correctly.
- Added the Wildcard and Print buttons on the virtual ADAM keyboard. All ADAM virtual keys should now be present.
- Added new configuration options to select the Colecovision mode to run in - you can force ADAM emulation, force PCB types, and set EEPROM sizes, etc.
- New global option to force ADAM mode, SGM can be Disabled, and BIOS auto-patch for 'Fast BIOS' to force the 15 second wait down to 3 seconds.
- Minor cleanup and optimizations to the Adam core.

Novo Player v1.10

Ce frontend pour émulateur MSX a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Provided a second game display with screenshots, with the ability to set the default display in the settings
- Show game's last played time and date
- Show game's CRC32 and MD5 hashes in "more details" window
- Read openMSX's softwaredb under user's openMSX folder (in addition to the openMSX installation one) to get game data
- Few bug fixes and enhancements

- Removed DrZ80 core - the high quality CZ80 core is all that remains.
- Complete overhaul of the Adam handlers to clean and refine.
- Fix for games like Best of Broderbund (dsk and ddp) now load properly.
